Job Summary:
The Assistant Tennis Professional supports all tennis operations, including lessons, events, and facility management. This role assists the Director of Tennis in organizing programs, tournaments, and social activities while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the club.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing group and individual tennis lessons for players of all levels.
- Promoting and coordinating tennis socials, events, and premier tournaments.
- Assisting with pickleball program development.
- Managing court reservations, member invoicing, and Tennis Shop operations.
- Supporting the maintenance team with court preparation and ensuring facilities remain clean and organized.
- Recording lessons, clinics, and event participation, and submitting monthly reports.
- Upholding club rules and providing excellent member service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior teaching or coaching experience (USPTA or PTR certification preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and enthusiastic about tennis and pickleball.
- Ability to assist with both instruction and administrative duties.
