What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Mail Driver position at Forest Hills Local Schools?
Title: Maintenance - Driver
Reports To: Transportation Supervisor
Employment Status: Full Time
Terms of Employment: 260 Days
Qualifications:
1. Valid driver's license.
2. High school graduate or equivalent.
3. 18 years of age or more.
4. Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record.
Essential Functions:
- Drive delivery trucks on scheduled and unscheduled trips.
- Load, haul and unload supplies and equipment, mail, freight, and express and/or other designated items.
- Assume responsibility for operating a schedule delivery route between the schools and central district activities.
- Write requests for vehicle repairs and accident reports.
- Pick up and deposit school monies daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasional operation of a vehicle under inclement weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed.
This position is eligible for benefits and vacation. Salary range is $19.96 - $26.44 per hour.
