The Learning to Work (LTW) Internship Program is designed for students currently enrolled in an LTW partner high school to gain valuable job experience in supportive, entry-level roles. This opportunity allows youth to explore career pathways, build soft skills, and contribute meaningfully to a local business, non-profit, or school-based site.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Report to a designated workplace supervisor and QCH Internship Coordinator.
- Attend mandatory work readiness training and job coaching sessions.
- Perform administrative, customer service, or program support duties depending on assigned site.
- Demonstrate professionalism by arriving on time, following workplace protocols, and adhering to dress codes.
- Communicate regularly with QCH Internship Coordinator about any challenges or questions.
- Submit accurate timesheets and evaluations as required.
- Represent QCH and your school in a positive, respectful manner.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a QCH LTW partner high school.
- Must be between the ages of 15–21 and eligible to work in New York City.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions and complete assignments responsibly.
