Journeyman Plumber

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs.
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment.
• Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls, test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
• Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Complete projects while working alone or with Master Plumber.
• May need to respond to plumbing emergencies outside of normal business hours.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

• Completion of plumbing apprenticeship
• Journeyman Plumber license in the State of Wisconsin
• Must have a valid, clean driver’s license
• Experience and knowledge of common construction and plumbing hand and power tools
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service
• Ability to move and transport plumbing fixtures and equipment including a water heater
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols

Preferred qualifications:

• Residential plumbing experience preferred
