Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Works with a carpentry crew and sometimes independently to ensure construction projects are done correctly and in a timely manner.
- Performs tasks under the direction of a Lead Carpenter. You will also periodically run a jobsite in the absence of the Lead Carpenter.
- Installs flooring, drywall, roofing, siding, doors, windows, cabinets, hardware, insulation, decks, concrete, tile, paneling, framing and repairs to all.
- Installs all building materials and supplies per manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with FCPC Residential Building Code.
- Operates industry standard tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and workplace safety.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience/knowledge in the Construction Industry.
- Must have knowledge of construction materials, tools, and mathematical concepts.
- Must be able to work without supervision at times.
- Ability to build from construction plans or diagrams.
- Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens.
