- Data Strategy & Governance – Develops and executes a new corporate data and analytics roadmap aligned with business goals and strategic objectives. Establishes data governance frameworks, ownership models, and policies for data quality, access, and compliance. Defines a centralized yet flexible data architecture to enable corporate visibility and Subsidiary autonomy.
- Data Architecture & Technology Enablement – Designs and oversees the implementation of data infrastructure (e.g. data warehouse, data lake, reporting platforms). Evaluates and selects appropriate tools and technologies for ETL, data visualization, and analytics that ensures scalability, security, and integration w/ PV’s existing business systems (i.e. ERP, CRM, financial systems, etc.). Strong foundational understanding of API integration and configuration concepts, including RESTful architecture, HTTP methods, and data serialization formats (JSON, XML). Hands-on experience maintaining / troubleshooting APIs to enable secure and efficient communication between applications.
- Business Intelligence Delivery – Builds and manages BI dashboards, performance metrics, and analytical reports for executive leadership and business units. Translates complex data into actionable insights that accelerate decision-making, efficiency, and profitability. Partners with Subsidiary and Department leaders to identify opportunities for data-driven process improvement and customer insights.
- Leadership & Capability Building – Leads and mentors a diversity of colleagues by fostering a culture of data literacy across the enterprise and championing adoption / compliance. Demonstrates capability to lead, inspire, and mentor future BI&A resources.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Monitors emerging trends and technologies in analytics, AI, and automation to inform future strategy / refine existing structures. Establishes and tracks metrics for data maturity and analytics impact across the portfolio. Highlights useful case-studies to drive iterative improvement and methodically advance the organization through the phases of data maturity.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree(s) in Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, and/or Business
- Master’s Degree and/or related postgraduate degree in similar field(s) preferred
- Complementary certificate programs and/or higher-level training, a plus
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Architecture, and/or Analytics Strategy, with and leadership responsibilities in diverse cross-functional teams.
- Proven success designing and implementing enterprise data strategies in multi-entity or holding company environments as a self-starter builder and pragmatic practitioner.
- Hands-on expertise with modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Power BI, Cosmos, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven quantitative, qualitative, and critical-thinking skills, with high level of judgment, initiative, creativity, and problem-solving to identify / communicate strategies to stakeholders.
- Experience working with / in commercial, financial, and technical settings across multiple end markets and history of executing data strategies that support growth and productivity projects.
- Ability to balance multiple complex workstreams simultaneously and prioritize efforts according to demand, deadlines, and professional / personal commitments.
- Ability to conduct thorough analysis, deliver insightful recommendations, readily assess risks / opportunities across multiple dimensions, and make timely decisions.
- Enthusiasm and aptitude for working as a trusted advisor in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative environment with varying degrees of ambiguity.
