What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Transportation Driver - Daily Route (Bus Driver License Not Required) position at Forest City Community School District?
For the 2026-27 School Year. 180 Days Per Year (School Days), 8 hours per day.
First Day of Employment = as soon as available
Applications due as soon as possible. Position open until filled.
To provide daily transportation of student(s) to and from Fort Dodge each school day and remain in the Fort Dodge area while the student attends classes with possible job duties as assigned during this time for the student(s) needs.
Vehicle and transportations costs provided by the District.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed.
- Evidence of abilities to relate and work with a heterogeneous group of people.
- Valid Iowa Driver's License and Safe Driving Record record required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supervise students on a one to one basis while transporting them to their attendance center.
- Under supervision and direction of the building principal and transportation director.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
