JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic entry-level Electrical Engineer in Training I to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in real-world projects. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced engineers and project managers to assist in the planning, design, and implementation of various civil engineering projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares plans and specifications for electrical projects
- Manages, organizes, and oversees electrical designs and details to produce a complete set of drawings
- Researches and writes reports/opinions
- Utilizes various engineering related computer software.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience: 0-1 year experience in electrical engineering or related field (internships/co-ops included).
Licensure: EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or ability to obtain it within the first year of employment
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and methods.
- Basic knowledge of engineering software.
- Ability to manage important resources such as time and materials.
- Ability to analyze project needs and requirements to create a design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
