Essential Functions Statement(s)
-Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
-Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete, and precise records of inspection.
- Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using.
- Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.
-Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
-Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators.
- Conduct internal audits as required.
-Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system
Shift: 5:00pm to 5:30am Fri, Sat & Sun

- Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or less
- Requires frequent standing, bending, grasping and reaching
- Occasional walking, sitting, and speaking
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses
- Sense of sound, touch, and sight
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 1 plus years of experience in Inspection
Other Requirements: Familiar with precision tools
This position requires access to EAR or ITAR-controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Persons”
