Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Stafford. The Sustainment Mechanical Engineer will perform tasks such as designing and analyzing mechanical systems, developing and refining designs, reviewing models and drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and engaging in research and development (R&D) activities to drive innovation. Additional responsibilities include supporting project management efforts to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Mechanical Engineering and Sustainment Support
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and innovative problem-solving
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute to Project Management activities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the defense or aerospace industry is a plus
