INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES & PROJECTS:
As an intern at Foremost, you’ll work on strategic, real-world projects that may include:
- Dairy Excellence Awards: Meet with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop a proposal for a recognition program that rewards team members implementing whole-farm best practices.
- Supplier Stewardship Program: Conduct research on key components of supplier stewardship, perform a gap analysis of current initiatives, and assist supply chain leadership in designing a program that promotes awareness, capability, and accountability among direct and indirect suppliers.
- Event Support: Provide assistance for various sustainability-focused events, such as Intern Sustainability Day and Adopt-A-Wildlife.
- Sustainability Research: Investigate emerging trends and opportunities in sustainability, including benchmarking data, market research, and potential grants or funding sources.
- Sustainability Chronicles: Support the creation of farm case studies and assist with tracking progress on sustainability projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications and highly organized
- Willingness to travel, up to 10%
- Must be available to work from May 27, 2026, through early to mid-August
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Junior or Senior class standing
