What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician - Plastics position at Foreman Tool & Mold?
Foreman Tool and Mold is a busy injection molder, and we are looking for a 1st shift Quality Control Technician. We need to add to our existing employees. We are a growing company with a clean, safe environment. We produce mainly, automotive and switch components.
1st shift is 6:15 am - 2:45 pm Monday – Friday.
The right candidate will be able to do the following:
Be able to read blueprints and use micrometer and calipers.
Know plastic defects and what causes them.
Be able to communicate with different levels of staff and ISO/IATF auditors in a professional manner both in person and in writing.
Have good attendance and desire to train others while being flexible.
Be result oriented and able to work without direct supervision.
Maintain all quality documentation.
Have strong analytical and reasoning ability.
