Foreign Auto Clinic is looking for an experienced Parts and Service Advisor. This position will be eligible for commissions based on sales and throughput. This position acts as a central point of contact for customers, technicians, and the parts department, ensuring smooth and efficient service and repair operations. They are responsible for greeting customers, developing estimates, writing repair orders, maintaining customer rapport and records, and managing the flow of information and parts needed for repairs. Must be over the age of 21 to be on the company insurance policy to drive customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

· Greeting customers and listening to their concerns.

· Providing accurate and helpful information about service options and costs.

· Scheduling appointments and managing customer expectations.

· Handling customer complaints and resolving issues.

· Ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Service Advisor:

· Translating customer descriptions into work orders.

· Consulting with technicians and determining the necessary parts and labor for repairs.

· Providing cost estimates and timelines for repairs.

· Tracking the progress of repairs and communicating updates to customers.

· Overseeing the service center's workflow and scheduling.

Parts Management:

· Ordering necessary parts from suppliers and ensuring timely delivery.

· Manage inventory and ensure parts are available.

· Providing information about different part options (OEM and aftermarket).

· Processing payments and managing invoices.

Essential Skills:

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good understanding of automotive technology and repair processes.

· Ability to work effectively with both customers and technicians.

· Proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software

Minimum Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of demonstrated Parts experience required, 3 years experience preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to operate an automobile, including manual transmission vehicles.
• Valid in-state driver’s license, and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
