Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Support the Director of EVS in all housekeeping and laundry operations to meet cleanliness and safety standards

• Lead, train, and coach staff, fostering engagement and accountability

• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and Forefront Healthcare policies

• Collaborate closely with clinical departments and hospital leadership to align goals

• Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and operational reporting

• Manage departmental records and documentation as required

• Participate in audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives

• Promote a positive and professional work environment focused on patient/resident-centered care

Position Information:

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA

• Type: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt

• Salary: $45,000-$50,000/yr

• Schedule: PM Shift, with some weekends and occasional holidays

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience in healthcare Environmental Services or a related field

• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and healthcare compliance standards

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; skilled at coaching and developing staff

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment

• Proactive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service

• Comfortable working PM shifts, with some weekend and holiday flexibility
