Assistant Controller

This role is a key Forefront Dermatology team member responsible for leading many aspects of the accounting organization including financial reporting for lender and private equity sponsors.  This role reports directly to the Corporate Controller with high interaction with the CFO.  This is a new position supporting high organic and acquisition growth with an emphasis on enhancing the Company’s accounting control environment.

• Responsible for financial reporting to PE owners and lenders
• Responsible for formulating and enhancing accounting policies and internal controls including related adherence
• Serves as primary lead for annual financial statement audit
• Manages Accounting Great Plains system and will play a key role in future Accounting ERP transition
• Responsible for teams addressing expenses and expense management, accruals and fixed asset accounting
• Coordinates monthly financial statement preparation including the statement of cash flows
• Ensures the Company is in compliance with existing and new technical accounting guidance

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• CPA certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 10 years accounting experience and 5 years’ experience in a manager role
• Experience in a PE owned high growth organization company preferred
• Experience working at an advanced level in Excel required

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Physical Demands

For this position, the base pay range is $155,000 - $185,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certifications or training. This position is eligible for our annual incentive program.

Salary : $155,000 - $185,000
