What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Survey Instrument Operator/Survey Technician/Rodman position at Fore Site Land Services, Inc.?
This position provides an opportunity for a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented individual looking to join our firm and build a career. While surveying experience is preferred, related experience/abilities will be considered (construction, etc.). Willing to train the right candidate.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Follow direction of the Survey Crew Chief
- Work with Crew Chief to perform surveys.
- Keep the survey truck supplied with lath, hubs, pins, ribbon, and any other necessary supplies.
- Follow safety procedures and use all personal safety equipment provided.
- Assist with all aspects of surveying as directed.
Qualifications:
- Surveying experience, good hand eye coordination.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Able to perform physical work, walking, lifting, loading and unloading equipment, cutting brush, climbing ladders.
- Able to comprehend and maintain data collected in the field.
- Able to get along with fellow crew members.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Enjoy the outdoors.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass drug test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
