We want to support and coach at-risk patients to manage their own health and assist them in navigating the health care and social service systems. This advocate will build trusted relationships in the community served.
The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for education to current health center patients as well as community residents regarding their health insurance options under the state insurance exchanges, MO HealthNet, and CHIP. This position is also responsible for assisting people to enroll for these insurance coverages. The Enrollment Specialist will be focused on ensuring empathy and compassion while delivering quality patient care. Position works under direct supervision of the Patient Engagement Manager.
We will provide on the job training and pay for this person to complete the Application Counselor Certification. If you have a passion for helping others, this could be just what you are looking for!
Work hours: Full-time, hourly position. Hours are subject to change. Clinic hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays 8am - 4pm. A typical work week for this position Monday - Friday from 10am - 6pm
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to speak other languages preferred
- Experience working with underserved and diverse populations in community settings preferred
