Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant VP of Enterprise AI, the AI Strategy & Operations Manager assists the AVP in leading the identification and implementation of AI initiatives to enhance the university’s academic and operational frameworks.
This role is responsible for bridging the gap between emerging AI trends and practical campus applications to drive institutional efficiency.
Essential Functions
Assists in the development of AI roadmaps and priorities that directly support the university’s overarching strategic goals.
Evaluates complex industry shifts to identify high-value use cases for students, faculty and university operations.
Conducts comprehensive feasibility studies to determine the technical and operational viability of proposed AI initiatives.
Performs detailed cost-benefit analyses for all AI projects to ensure optimal resource allocation and ROI .
Helps setup and run the AI Governance Council that spans faculty, university administrators and IT to assess campus needs and manage risk, ethics, and ROI
Serves as a liaison to AI Governance Council, data governance and security teams to ensure responsible AI implementations.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning concepts.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
Proven track record in developing project roadmaps and executing strategic plans.
Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable executive recommendations.
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills tailored for engaging with diverse university stakeholders and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum Starting Salary $100,000
Maximum Starting Salary $125,000
