- Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and system troubleshooting to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and replenishing parts efficiently while maintaining accurate records with tools like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and issuing receipts while ensuring excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment, vehicle system diagnostics, and maintenance scheduling to support automotive service operations.
- Negotiate with customers on pricing, warranties, or return policies to foster positive relationships and repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that adheres to safety standards and promotes efficient workflow in retail sales environments.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive parts management or dealership sales is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive repair knowledge enable effective customer consultations.
