As a Service Field Technician, you will work in the field diagnosing and repairing commercial AV systems, applying your hands-on experience with AV, low-voltage, or electronics service work to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
- Respond to service tickets and client requests to diagnose, repair, or reprogram AV systems
- Travel to client sites daily to provide hands-on support
- Troubleshoot systems using diagnostic tools, signal tracing, and control system interfaces
- Collaborate with the Customer Care Dispatch team to prioritize and complete work orders
- Complete accurate documentation for service tickets, client communication, and parts used
- Qualifications**:
- Prior experience installing or servicing commercial AV, low-voltage, or electronic control systems
- Familiarity with signal flow, diagnostic tools, and basic AV wiring practices
- Experience with service tickets and job tracking tools (e.g., CRM or field service platforms)
- Strong communication skills to explain issues and resolutions to clients
- Ability to climb ladders, carry equipment, and travel between job sites with flexibility
