POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Strategist plays a crucial role in developing and delivering 360 brand strategies across a wide range of clients, from luxury to CPG brands.
This role requires a deep understanding of audiences, culture, and category dynamics, with the ability to uncover powerful insights and translate them into clear strategic directions. You are able to identify meaningful opportunities for brands, and turn them into compelling narratives and creative territories that inspire development across branding, communication, and experience.
Working in close collaboration with creative teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, you ensure that strategy is not only well defined, but actively brought to life through strong ideas and cohesive brand systems across all touchpoints.
You are comfortable leading strategic workstreams, presenting to clients with clarity and conviction, and holding attention through succinct and engaging storytelling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
360 Strategic Thinking
- Lead the development of brand strategies across a range of projects, from positioning and brand architecture to communication, experience, and brand world definition.
- Conduct brand audits, market research, and competitive analysis to inform strategic direction.
- Identify and articulate strong insights rooted in audience, culture, and category dynamics.
- Translate insights into clear, actionable strategic frameworks and creative territories that guide development across branding, communication, and experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, cultural shifts, and evolving consumer behaviours, with a strong understanding of luxury and lifestyle culture.
- Translate research and data into meaningful narratives and opportunities for brands.
- Bring curiosity and critical thinking to all phases of the strategic process.
Creative Integration
- Work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Designers throughout the project cycle.
- Develop creative strategies, territories, and narratives that inspire and unlock strong creative output.
- Actively contribute to ideation sessions and bring strategic clarity to the work.
- Ensure strategy is effectively translated into cohesive brand systems across all touchpoint.
Qualifications & Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience within a branding, creative, or advertising agency, with exposure to broader strategic disciplines such as communication, cultural, or trend strategy.
- Proven experience developing and delivering 360 strategies across a range of projects and categories.
- Ability to translate insights and data into clear, compelling narratives that inspire creative development.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage and hold client attention.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
