Our client, a rapidly growing beverage manufacturer, is seeking a driven, strategic, and results-oriented National Account Manager – Sam’s Club to own and accelerate one of their most important retail partnerships. In this role, you will lead the Sam’s Club business end-to-end, scaling two of the most exciting brands in the beverage industry today. This is more than a traditional account management role. It’s an opportunity to build a business, shape strategy, and directly influence growth within a fast-moving, high-visibility channel. About the Role:
We are seeking a driven, strategic, and results-oriented National Account Manager – Sam’s Club to own and accelerate one of our most important retail partnerships.
What You'll Do:
- Own and lead the Sam’s Club business, delivering against revenue, profit, and growth objectives
- Develop and execute joint business plans (JBP), promotional strategies, and demand forecasts
- Identify and unlock opportunities to expand distribution and accelerate growth across both branded & private label portfolios
- Build trusted relationships with Sam’s Club merchants, replenishment teams, and senior leadership
- Leverage data and insights (Madrid) to drive fact-based selling and decision-making
- Analyze category, competitive, and consumer trends to inform strategy and identify whitespace opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure aligned execution
- Lead compelling customer presentations, new item pitches, and business reviews
- Manage trade investment, forecast accuracy, and monthly performance tracking
- Align supply chain planning with promotional and seasonal demand to ensure in-stock success
- Act as a business owner, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and driving solutions
Qualifications
- 5 years of CPG sales experience, preferably within club, mass, or Sam’s Club/Walmart ecosystem
- Proven track record of owning and growing a national retail account
- Strong understanding of club channel dynamics and Sam’s Club business model
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable strategies
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and a passion for building brands
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environment
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Bentonville, AR
