Roofing Superintendent

Force Roofing Systems is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent.

We are a small, growing roofing company looking for a strong worker with a “solve the problem” mindset. This role is primarily focused on commercial roofing projects, but the superintendent may also assist the residential team as needed.

We are looking for someone who has experience, takes pride in their work, communicates well, pays attention to detail, and can handle changing jobsite conditions without needing their hand held. This is not a role for someone who makes excuses or needs everything to be perfect before they can move forward. We need someone with common sense, professionalism, and the ability to lead, adjust, and get things done.

The Commercial Roofing Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing commercial roofing projects from the field level and helping make sure work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial roofing projects
• Communicate with crews, project managers, customers, vendors, and company leadership
• Help coordinate materials, labor, jobsite needs, and project schedules
• Ensure jobsite safety is followed at all times
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy
• Take detailed photos, notes, and project updates
• Identify problems and help find solutions before they become bigger issues
• Perform basic and small roof repairs when needed
• Coordinate larger repairs with roofing crews
• Assist the residential team as needed
• Work in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other outdoor conditions
• Work overtime and weekends as needed
• Travel as required, typically up to 8 weeks per year

Qualified candidates must have:

• Commercial roofing experience
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, jobsite conditions, and field operations
• Clean driving record
• Drug-free lifestyle
• Professional appearance and communication
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to follow direction and also think independently
• Common sense and problem-solving ability
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly with crews, management, and customers
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to handle changing priorities and job demands

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel when needed

Typical work week is Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work required as needed based on project demands.

Some travel is required, typically up to 8 weeks per year.

• Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000, based on experience
