What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydraulics Production Cell Leader position at FORCE America?
Lead the Build. Grow the Team. Elevate the Process.
FORCE America is expanding in Alexandria, and we’re looking for a hands-on leader to guide our Deburring, Machining, and Assembly teams. As the Hydraulics Production Cell Leader, you’ll set the pace on the floor—coaching associates, balancing workflow, and ensuring every hydraulic system we ship meets exacting standards.
A day in the life
You kick off with a quick huddle—aligning goals for output, quality, and safety. You assign work based on each associate’s strengths and capacity, then jump in to demonstrate best practices: how to Deburr precisely, assemble and disassemble complex builds, repair components, and perform functional testing across all product lines. Throughout the day, you monitor throughput, resolve component quality issues, record accurate transactions in the ERP system, and collaborate with quality, purchasing, and scheduling. You spot a process bottleneck and lead a fast Kaizen—updating work instructions and implementing an improvement that boosts efficiency without sacrificing quality. Before you wrap, you verify that safety practices are followed, standards are met, and the team is set up for tomorrow’s success.
