As an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist, you’ll assemble, take apart, and repair designated products using work instructions, common hand tools, and power tools. You’ll balance self-directed focus with strong teamwork to deliver safe, high-quality results—every shift.
What a Day Looks Like
Mostly indoor work with protection from weather, though temperature may vary. Some tasks occur near open bays without weather control.
Distribution and Valve areas may involve periodic high noise and vibration from engines, air compressors, and air-powered equipment—hearing protection should be used.
Possible exposure to moving mechanical parts/equipment, heavy components, electrical shock, compressed air, and certain chemicals.
Representative tools and equipment include: air power tools, electric drill, drill press, crimping machines, grinders (hand and bench), wrenches, heat guns, lathe, torches, welders, a variety of hand tools, mills, and electric cords. Valve: CNC.

What a Day Looks Like
- Build core subassemblies precisely following documented work instructions using hand and power tools and production equipment.
- Assemble entry-level finished products to defined targets for quality, output, efficiency, and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with the team on expedited orders, part quality questions, and inventory record accuracy.
- Champion safety: follow all policies and procedures and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and audit-ready.
- Record all transactions accurately in our Manufacturing Execution software to maintain system integrity.
- Collaborate to hit team goals—and flex to take on other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED (1 year of relevant experience preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort reading/using work instructions.
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
- Strong urgency and prioritization to meet customer needs.
- Sharp attention to detail and quality.

- Lift up to 70 lbs occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 25 lbs regularly throughout the day (as tasks require).
- Sustain attention to complete tasks correctly and consistently.
- Lift items from floor to above shoulder height; move parts/tools/equipment between areas and levels.
- Strong hand–eye coordination.
- Stand or sit for stretches of up to 4 hours.
- Reach in any direction while operating tools.
- Handle, grasp, turn, pull, and manipulate parts and tools with hands and arms.
- Pull tools, wrenches, parts, and equipment as needed to complete work.
- Manual dexterity for picking, pinching, and fine work with fingers.
- Use touch to gauge size, shape, temperature, or texture—especially with fingertips.
