Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer

Private Security Company based in the Greater New Orleans area looking for Licensed Armed Guards for mobile patrols. [Prior Military and/or Law Enforcement a plus]

• APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EVIDENCE OF A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.
• APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
• APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME WHILE MAINTAINING VIGILANCE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS
• Applicants MUST have a professional demeanor, good communication/writing skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work alone or with a team to perform the duties in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State, the needs of the Client, and policies of Force 1 Protection.
• Applicants MUST have excellent time management skills, be courteous, and uphold the standards set forth by Force 1 Protection at all times.
• Applicants MUST have reliable transportation to get to and from each shift in a timely manner.
• APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EVIDENCE OF A CURRENT LOUISIANA SECURITY LICENSE FROM LSBPSE (A GUARD CARD), AND CURRENT FIREARMS CERTIFICATION (LSBPSE CERTIFIED).
• Applicants MUST be able to work flexible hours with the understanding that the security field is not a 9-5 occupation and will likely require night, overnight, holiday and weekend availability. Applicants with limited availability may not be advanced to the next step in the hiring process.

• Driver's License (Mandatory)
• Guard Card (Mandatory)
• Armed Certification (Mandatory)

EDUCATION:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• Armed Security Officer (Preferred)
• Mobile Patrols (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed
