What You’ll DoProduction Managers are responsible for leading frontline teams and driving safe, efficient, and high‑quality production operations. Responsibilities may include:
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly production teams
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity metrics
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and procedures
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, HR, and Supply Chain teams
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
- Manage labor planning, performance, and employee engagement
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and communication
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience leading hourly teams and frontline supervisors
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills
- Working knowledge of safety, quality, and production KPIs
- Ability to work across shifts, departments, and changing priorities
Preferred (not required):
- Experience in high‑volume or multi‑shift manufacturing
- Continuous improvement exposure (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
- Prior responsibility for labor planning or performance management
