We are currently looking for a New Home Construction Technician / Punch-Out Technician to join our construction team. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to be part of a professional team building high-quality new homes.
This role is critical to ensuring our homes meet Forbes Capretto’s standards for quality, cleanliness, and overall presentation before and during construction.
What You’ll Do
- Perform punch-out work and minor repairs on new homes during various stages of construction
- Assist Construction Managers with day-to-day jobsite needs
- Complete light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general finish work
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites and model homes
- Install and maintain community signage and marketing materials
- Sweep, clean, and power wash homes and garages as needed
- Receive, verify, and organize material deliveries
- Work with subcontractors to ensure work meets company standards
- Help maintain stormwater / SWPPP requirements on jobsites
- Support the construction team to keep projects moving on schedule
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of construction or skilled labor experience preferred
- Experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, or general trades
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (90 lbs with assistance)
