Duties
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
- Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, checking for quality, and minimizing waste through efficient pouring and handling techniques
- Operate POS systems such as Square to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Develop innovative beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and guest preferences
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including catering events, banquets, or nightclub nights
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments with a strong knowledge of mixology techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, beverage recipe development, and food safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple orders efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards
- Previous experience working in hospitality or food service industries preferred; restaurant or banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; basic math proficiency required for measuring ingredients and processing payments
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and alcohol service regulations; certifications in responsible alcohol service are advantageous
