Summary
We’re looking for a part-time Community Response Associate to help Forager Project engage thoughtfully and professionally with our social media community—and beyond. As a digital ambassador for our brand, you’ll use approved messaging to respond to consumer comments, questions, and feedback, while helping us identify new spaces for conversation.
This is a flexible, entry-level role for someone who enjoys writing, is detail-oriented, and wants to be part of building a warm, authentic digital community.
Work Schedule and Pay: 5–10 hours/week | Austin-based, with the flexibility to work from home most of the time | $20.00/hour
Reports to Chief Community Officer
Responsibilities
• Own proactive and reactive community response in a timely, professional, and measurable manner
• Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn using pre-approved messaging
• Monitor relevant threads, tags, and conversations to ensure Forager is present and responsive where our community is talking
• Seek opportunities to participate in relevant external conversations (e.g., Reddit threads, social comment sections, partner posts) using brand-aligned responses
• Maintain a shared response library and help evolve it with common questions or new engagement scenarios
• Flag engagement trends, user-generated content, or any posts requiring internal escalation
• Share a weekly recap of highlights and insights with the broader team
Qualifications
• 1 year of experience in social media, customer service, or community support roles
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to reflect brand voice with clarity and care
• Comfortable using social platforms and exploring public conversations beyond our owned accounts
• Self-directed, dependable, and able to manage a small, consistent workload each week
• Passion for organic food, plant-based living, or sustainability is a plus
