We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This vital role involves supporting our financial operations through accurate data entry, account reconciliation, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Duties
- Accounts payable and general ledger transactions
- Reconcile balance sheets and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing processes in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Conduct routine account reconciliation tasks such as bank statement matching and debits & credits verification
Experience
- Proven experience in corporate accounting environments with familiarity in financial concepts.
- Strong understanding of GAAP standards and technical accounting practices
- Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and account analysis accurately
- Excellent math skills with proficiency in 10-key typing and double-entry bookkeeping techniques
- Prior accounting experience required
