Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and prepare them for eye exams
Perform pre-testing (visual acuity, tonometry, retinal imaging, etc.)
Record and maintain accurate patient data
Assist doctors during exams and with diagnostic equipment
Educate patients on eyewear, contact lenses, and eye health
Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and payments
Help keep the office clean, organized, and efficient
Qualifications:
Prior optometric or medical assisting experience preferred (training provided)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Computer literacy and comfort with electronic health records
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
