- Skills in safe transfer techniques, basic home safety practices, and maintaining a clean, orderly environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients, families, and care team members.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to assist with errands and appointments as needed.
- High level of professionalism, dependability, and respect for client privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences.
- Ability to follow care plans, document services accurately, and report changes in client condition promptly.
- Prior caregiving, home health, or related experience preferred; applicable certifications (such as CNA or PCA) are a plus.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and supporting client mobility.
- Willingness to complete background checks, training, and any required state or agency compliance requirements.
