Duties

- Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs.
- Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other core subjects into daily lessons to promote well-rounded development.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Adhere to mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with classroom management expertise.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Knowledge of special education needs and experience supporting children with diverse learning requirements.
- Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement into daily activities is a plus.
- Understanding of Montessori methods or other specialized early childhood educational approaches is desirable.
