Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Phoenix, AZ for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will collaborate with speech-language pathologists to provide therapy to students, assist in the implementation of speech and language programs, track student progress, and maintain documentation. Daily tasks include conducting therapy sessions, aiding in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs), and communicating with teachers and parents to support student progress.
Qualifications
- Skills in Speech and Speech Therapy
- Understanding of Communication and Communication Disorders
- Experience with Articulation therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and educational staff
- Relevant certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience in an educational setting is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
