Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chief Operating Officer role based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Chief Operating Officer will oversee daily business operations, develop and execute strategic plans, implement efficient processes, and manage resources to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities include ensuring financial health through effective budgeting and financial oversight, supervising operations management, and collaborating closely with senior leadership to promote organizational growth and success.
The position of COO provides a competitive salary and benefits package which includes stock equity options. The salary range of $145,000 - 180,000 varies on certifications and experience. This position does not require extensive travel with an expectation of 2-3 multi-night trips per year at most.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Business Planning and strategic decision-making to drive organizational growth
- Extensive experience in Operations Management, overseeing processes, teams, and resources
- Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and strategic evaluations
- Expertise in Finance and Budgeting to ensure effective resource allocation and financial health
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a leadership role; experience in the healthcare or diagnostics industry is a plus
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant field is preferred
