Duties
- Prepare patients for electromyography procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and cooperation.
- Conduct nerve conduction studies accurately, following established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses throughout testing to ensure safety and optimal results.
- Analyze test data, record detailed observations, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations by integrating clinical information, neurophysiological data, and anatomy knowledge.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of neurophysiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to neurodiagnostic testing. .
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate effectively with medical teams.
