What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Foothills Family Practice?
Are you a skilled Medical Assistant looking for a professional home where you aren’t just a number – you’re a vital part of the patient care team?
Join our independent, one-physician family practice where we prioritize high-quality patient care. We understand that life happens outside of work. Enjoy a stable 30-hour work week with schedule flexibility that large practices or hospital systems often can’t provide.
If you genuinely enjoy patient contact, you’ll thrive here. You won't just be moving charts; you'll be building relationships with a consistent patient base. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our patients and providing a warm, professional environment.
As the primary MA in a small office, your expertise is valued, and your impact is immediate. You will lead patient intake (vitals, history), assist the physician with minor procedures, and perform basic lab tests (EKG, urinalysis, injections). An accredited MA program certificate is necessary.
Because we are a small team, you will have the opportunity to manage the full patient experience, from check-in to follow-up. Scheduling patients and all aspects of a front desk will also be your responsibility.
A warm "people-person" demeanor is essential—our patients expect a friendly face.
