About the Position
We are seeking a dependable, skilled Job Site Coordinator / Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in operating heavy equipment, setting grades, and ensuring efficient, safe job site operations. This position offers steady work through the year, with additional hours available for winter snow plowing.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities on job sites to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and dump trucks.
- Accurately set grades using a transit or laser level.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Communicate effectively with crew members, project managers, and clients.
- Assist with material deliveries and site logistics.
- Participate in snow plowing operations during the winter season (optional but encouraged).
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment (excavator, skid steer, bulldozer, dump truck).
- Ability to set and verify grades using a transit.
- Valid driver’s license required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.
- Class A CDL highly desired.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
