Outside Sales Representative – Roofing Industry
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our roofing team. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, conducting inspections, and guiding homeowners through the roofing purchase process. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and driven by the opportunity to help customers while achieving strong sales results.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting
- Proactively generate new leads through door-to-door canvassing, referrals, networking, and community engagement.
- Follow up on company-provided leads and respond to inbound inquiries.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Customer Engagement & Sales Process
- Conduct roof inspections to assess damage, document findings, and educate customers.
- Present roofing solutions clearly and confidently, tailoring recommendations to each customer's needs.
- Guide homeowners through insurance claim processes when applicable.
- Provide professional proposals, estimates, and product information.
Relationship Management
- Build trust and rapport with homeowners, property managers, and business owners.
- Follow up with customers throughout the sales cycle to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
- Maintain long-term relationships to generate referrals and repeat business.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
