Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist who is reliable and dedicated to join our team! This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for patients ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of administrative tasks, handle multi-line phone systems with poise, and support office operations with your strong organizational skills. Your positive attitude and exceptional customer service will help create a smooth and efficient front office experience that reflects our commitment to exceptional patient care! This is a part time position Monday 8am to 12noon , Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:45am to 5pm (may surpass 5pm at times). If interested, please email only. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in, check out process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Verify and process patient insurance information and handle payment collections as necessary.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Practice Fusion and EPIC.
- Communicate effectively with provider and staff regarding patient needs and inquiries.
- Handle multi-line phone calls, texts, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner.
- Assist with misc. office tasks including cleaning and organizing.
- Other clerical duties as requested.
Experience
- Prior experience in a fast paced medical office or clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
