Position Responsibilities
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical practice
· Collaborate with physicians and providers to improve practice operations
· HR experience including recruiting, onboarding, coaching and performance management
· Lead and supervise administrative and clinical support staff
· Oversee revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and insurance coordination
· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency
· Monitor key performance indicators, budgets, and operational expenses
· Optimize patient scheduling, workflow, and overall patient experience
· Resolve patient concerns professionally and maintain a high level of customer service
· Identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
· Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, and other healthcare regulations
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree REQUIRED.
· 3–5 years of medical practice management or healthcare management experience REQUIRED.
· Experience managing physician practices or specialty medical offices REQUIRED
· Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) PREFERRED.
· Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
· Strong knowledge of medical billing/surgical billing, coding, insurance, and reimbursement processes
· Knowledge of the surgical scheduling process, including coordination with hospitals and ASC’s
· Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and Microsoft Office. EPIC EMR is used in our office
· Ability to analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements.
· Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
