Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Foot and Ankle Surgeon at our Newton, NJ location. The Foot and Ankle Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the foot and ankle, performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and developing treatment plans for a wide range of pathologies. The role includes patient consultations, collaborating with healthcare professionals, prescribing orthotics as needed, and providing education on preventative care and management of conditions such as diabetes. The position requires a focus on delivering excellent patient care and maintaining a positive relationship with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Medicine and Podiatry, with an emphasis on diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions
• Strong knowledge of Biomechanics and Orthotics to develop effective treatment plans
• Experience managing patients with Diabetes, with a focus on preventative care and limb preservation
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Board certification or eligibility in Podiatric Surgery
• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program
• Experience in a clinical or surgical setting is highly preferred
