We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and masons in their daily tasks
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project execution
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed to support structural elements
- Help with framing, door hanging, trim carpentry, and drywall installation to ensure precise craftsmanship
- Support roofing, stucco application, caulking, plastering, and other finishing tasks to enhance project quality
- Assist with heavy equipment operation under supervision for tasks like excavation or material transport
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of waste materials and storing tools properly
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for everyone on site
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate task execution
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and protocols
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor throughout the day
- Basic understanding of trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or electrical work is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site access and equipment operation support
