Staff Accountant

OVERVIEW:

FoodTec Solutions is a premier point-of-sale solution provider in the restaurant and food chain industry. FoodTec Solutions offers a comprehensive transaction-based system that enables restaurant operators to manage all aspects of their business from customer, ordering and delivery management, marketing, and sales management reporting.

FoodTec Solutions is growing and looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our Accounting Department as a full time Staff Accountant.  This position is ideal for an organized individual who can work independently, coordinate a growing client basis, and develop within a rapidly growing, fast-paced company.

  At least 2 years of Accounting Experience is required
• 
  Proficient computer skills and Excel skills is required
• 
  Proficiency with QuickBooks is preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 
   Be the lead representative of FoodTec’s Accounting Department with clients and build/maintain strong professional relationships.
2. 
   Be responsible for reconciling company operating and payroll bank accounts on monthly basis, and present reconciliation to the Accounting Manager.
3. 
   Support and assist Accounting Manager on various accounting tasks and any special projects.
4. 
   Work with Accounting Manager and IT on projects related to increasing effectiveness through automation.
5. 
   Review and maintain Accounts Receivables, including handling collection activities and ensure timely payments from clients.
6. 
   Be responsible for Accounts Payable functions.
7. 
   Create invoices in a timely manner.
8. Be responsible for handling and recording of daily deposits.
