Foods Galore is the leading independent food service and retail broad-line food distributor in the Delaware Valley selling to restaurants and retail supermarkets. Established in 1986, this family owned and operated company is hiring for a Pricing & Margin Director.
The role of the Pricing & Margin Director involves formulating competitive pricing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. This position demands a blend of analytical skills, market insight, and strategic thinking to set commodity prices that maximize profit and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction. The pricing manager works closely with different departments including marketing, sales, and finance to develop and implement pricing models and strategies. In this role involves understanding the market dynamics, customer behavior and competitive landscape to make informed pricing decisions. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. Monday to Friday work schedule with some remote flexibility. Annual salary range is $110k to $125k depending on skills and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Interacting with all departments and individual sales representatives.
· Daily, weekly, and monthly product and pricing margin analysis review
· Collaborating with team members prior to margin updates within the pricing system
Skills
· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
· Proficient with Microsoft Office with Advanced Microsoft skills using pivot tables
Education/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field experience
· Three to five years of Pricing experience
