We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety concerns regarding fixtures, or any structural elements
- Use proper techniques to uphold cleanliness standards
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing (training can be provided)
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Prior experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work independently or as part of a team
