Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Strategic Brand Marketer located in Monrovia, CA. We are looking for a strategic, consumer-focused Brand Strategy Manager to help shape our brand’s presence in both current and emerging markets. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, identifying opportunities for brand extensions, and guiding the brand’s evolution across various channels and product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, articulate, and manage comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business goals and market potential
- Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer needs to identify and evaluate brand extension opportunities (new products, categories, or experiences)
- Conduct market research, audience segmentation, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to inform strategic decisions
- Define brand positioning, value propositions, messaging frameworks, and brand voice guidelines
- Partner with internal teams (Creative, Media, Digital Marketing, and Food and Beverage Operations) to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Lead the development of brand playbooks, tone of voice guidelines, and brand storytelling assets
- Monitor brand health metrics and campaign performance, translating insights into strategic recommendations
- Stay up to date with cultural trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to keep the brand fresh and relevant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5–7 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, advertising, or brand management
- Proven experience developing and executing brand strategies across multi-channel environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for building brands that matter and resonate with audiences on a deep level
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in consumer goods, lifestyle brands, food & beverage, or tech/startups
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, influencer marketing, and content strategy
- Experience with brand measurement tools (e.g., brand tracking studies, Net Promoter Score, social listening)
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
