Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene are maintained at all times
- Oversee food production processes, including preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation for all dining outlets and banquet events
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous cleanliness standards across the kitchen
- Supervise shift operations, delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor staff performance to foster teamwork and productivity
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial kitchens with strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
- Extensive banquet experience coupled with expertise in catering services
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of restaurant or hospitality industry operations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse culinary team
