What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing new client relationships, and expanding our presence throughout New York City and surrounding markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, social, and government clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, outreach, referrals, and direct sales efforts.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their event goals and recommend customized catering and event solutions.
- Conduct engaging sales presentations, venue tours, and tastings that showcase our culinary offerings and event capabilities.
- Manage and nurture a robust pipeline of leads and lapsed accounts while consistently achieving sales goals.
- Collaborate closely with event planning, culinary, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and community gatherings to identify new business opportunities and strengthen brand awareness.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive activity.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven sales experience, ideally within catering, hospitality, events, food service, or related industries.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Existing corporate, social, or government contacts are a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
